Résumé
The contamination caused by wastewater is a concern by the governments and the scientific community and so this project is carried out to identify the substances resistant to degradation, assessment their presence in the sludge, and the identification the by-products during wastewater treatment. The first step is carried out at EPOC to develop the analytical methodologies for the determination of polar organic contaminants and the second step will be carried out in Spain to study the degradation process of contaminant in wastewater treatment plant and estimation of toxicity of the by-products.
Besides to present of above-mentioned project and brief summary of my career, the aim of this work will be present the development of a multiresidue method based on liquid-chromatography followed by mass spectrometry. Parameters affecting to ionization source such as drying gas temperature or flow, source type or presence of modifiers were optimized.
