ISOBAY 14 - XIV International Symposium on Oceanography of the Bay of Biscay
du 11-06-2014 au 13-06-2014Lieu
Espace Agora, Haut-Carré, Université de Bordeaux, Talence, France
The main goal of this bi-annual symposium is to present scientific works realised in the Bay of Biscay, in its coastal zone, and in transitional waters between the land and the sea (estuaries, lagoons, deltas and rias). ISOBAY is a multidisciplinary symposium connected with a wide range of topics, from geology and physical oceanography to ecosystem functioning and fisheries. Ultimately, the objective is to favour discussions between scientists from different disciplines and to promote new multidisciplinary research in the coastal and shelf areas of the Bay of Biscay. ISOBAY is also a great opportunity for students and young researchers to present and discuss their first results.
The main issue of this 14th edition will be Functioning and dysfunctioning of marine and brackish ecosystems. |
