Leave the Rocade at Exit 16 (marked Talence Domaine Universitaire) in a northbound direction, i.e. turning left if arriving from the west (Arcachon, Mérignac, Pont d'Aquitaine) or right if coming from the east (Toulouse, Pont Mitterand, Bordeaux).

The Talence site is less than 3 km from the Rocade :

Follow Cours de la Libération in the direction of Talence and Bordeaux. You will pass the Ecole d'Architecture et de Paysage then the Ecole de Management on your right. After 0.9 km turn left onto Avenue Pey-Berland at a traffic lights in front of the CREPS buildings (on the left).
At the next roundabout, turn right. Continue a little distance along Avenue des Facultés to find the Building B18 (UFR des Sciences de la Terre et de la Mer) on your left, which houses the Talence-B18 Site.

From Gare Saint-Jean (Bordeaux railroad station) take a bus in front of the station (route 16 or 17) and get down at Victoire station. Change to tramway (route B, towards Pessac-Centre). The tram passes in front of Building B18 (UFR des Sciences de la Terre et de la Mer). Leave the tram at François Bordes station where you are about 200m from the building.

From Bordeaux-Mérignac airport, take the JetBus coach in front of the airport to Quinconces in Bordeaux centre (~30 minutes journey time). Change to the tramway (route B, towards Pessac-Centre) and get down at François Bordes station.
